Located high above the beautiful coast of Western Asturias, within a short drive of the picturesque ports of Cudillero and Luarca, Teixidiello is a long abandoned hillside village brought back to life! Restored to its original charm, El Acebo is a stone cottage overlooking the countryside. You will feel among the privileged few to find such a hidden gem. Access from the closest village of San Martin de Luiña is via a beautiful winding track through the forest, ensuring constant peace and tranquillity.
We have in this hamlet other houses for two or three people, we can also rent, wiew photos.
We encourage you to enjoy the natural surroundings of Teixidiello by partaking in walking, bird and animal watching, plant gathering and sunbathing. However, when the need arises, in fifteen minutes you can find yourself on sandy beaches, in local restaurants, shopping, etc. Both Cudillero and Luarca are the closest port towns of size and they each offer different varieties of activities, gastronomy and shopping opportunities. San Martin is your first point of contact as you come down the mountain and there are 2 good restaurants, a bakery, a chemist’s, a Doctor’s surgery, a petrol (diesel only) station and a post office in early morning hours. Market day in San Martin is Tuesday until 1pm. The local narrow guage train passes through San Martin 3 times daily and can be a fun alternative to the car especially for going to Oviedo, the cathedral capital or Gijon, the lively beach city.
Soto de Luiña is not far and is on the way to the beach, where you can do all your basic shopping. Alternatively, Cudillero and Luarca are close by. Large department stores and shopping centres are less than an hour away in Avilés, Gijon and Oviedo.
Horse riding is offered locally in Lamuño. Your nearest sandy beach is San Pedro, (10KMs) which offers all services, lifeguard, two snack-bars, showers and parking. However, we recommend you explore the many other beaches the area has to offer. Asturias is known for its surfing. Bring a board or rent one in San Juan de la Arena.

El Acebo es un apartamento ideal para una pareja y como máximo uno o dos niños hasta 7 años.
Tiene un gran ventanal con vistas magnificas a la montaña.
En la planta baja tiene la cocina con todo lo necesario, nevera, microondas, vitrocerámica, tostadora, batidora y todo el menaje para pasar el tiempo que quieras. Después nos encontramos con un pequeño salón con televisión, TDT y Satélite, CD, DVD, ademas de un hogar o chimenea de leña que hará tu estancia mas romántica y en épocas un poco mas frías, mucho mas agradable. Por ultimo un baño con ducha de hidromasaje, con agua natural de manantial donde podrás comprobar como te queda de suave el cabello y la piel.
En la planta superior dispones de una cama matrimonial y todo el ajuar necesario.
